Vixen Racing sets up program to support the fight against Breast Cancer!

UPDATE 2008:
For 2008, we have an even more urgent fundraising challenge! My friend has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Trycia Lynn Carlberg is only 32 years old and is a small business owner, while having been a professional dancer/singer for over 14 years. With such an aggressive form of cancer, Trycia needs the best, most progressive treatment possible. Her friends at Stained Glass World, a youth charity, have organized a fundraiser to ensure that Trycia gets the best possible care - and I am doing my part to help. Each Romeo & Jewels handmade jewelry purchase will benefit Trycia’s “Angels 4 TLC” Foundation. You can read about Trycia’s story here. Romeo & Jewels is also raising money for Stand Up 2 Cancer - and we've started a team online. If you'd like to donate, click here to get your donation added to the team!

We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our team and it's first anniversary than to help other women. Samira's co-worker, Helen, is a cancer survivor completed the 3-Day Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk in October 2006. Her team's goal was to raise $50,000, and we decided to celebrate by supporting their cause.

UPDATE 2007: This year, we have even more honorary Vixens to support! Join me in supporting Marcia Daley and her team Sisters With Purpose on their 2007 San Diego 3 Day walk!

UPDATE 2006: Helen and her team (HK Belles) walked 60 miles EACH over 3 days in the 2006 3 Day Walk! We congratulate the team and commend them for their dedication and effort! Wow, 60 miles! Vixen Racing helped raise over $1,500 to sponsor them, and Helen had her biggest fundraising year ever! Yay! Many thanks to everyone who donated!

Please continue to help us support Helen and her team - and to assist the fight against Breast Cancer. Fear the Pink!
